About Cannonsgate

Cannonsgate has come alive in recent months, with the construction of new custom homes and multiple lots coming under contract. Located on Highway 24 in Newport, NC just 10 minutes from Emerald Isle, NC – this 525 lot community is the perfect balance between southern luxury and coastal living. The Cannonsgate community was developed as a Charleston like community – unlike any community on the North Carolina coast. Each home is designed with this Low Country appeal including a blend of brick and coastal exteriors, expansive covered porches, double covered piazzas, large columns and much more.

Community amenities include a pool, clubhouse, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball court, playground, walking trails, kayak launch, soundfront pier with gazebo ,boatramp, marina, fish cleaning station, & R/V boat storage lots. Located in award-winning Croatan school district & only a short drive to Crystal Coast beaches!
